CHRISTIAN PARTY CANDIDATES IN SCOTLAND

The Christian Party is standing in constituencies in Scotland, England and Wales that challenge several Government ministers.

Dr Donald Boyd, Leader of the Scottish Christian Party, will stand against Danny Alexander, MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, in the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey constituency.  Two polls by Lord Ashcroft in 2014 and 2015 have predicted a swing of over 20% from the Lib Dems to the swing of 29% from the Lib Dems to the SNP, so that he will lose his seat.  University of Strathclyde Professor John Curtice, Scotland's leading psephologist, has also said that he is unlikely to retain his seat.  The Unionist vote will be divided, so that the SCP is advising tactical voting to unite behind Dr Boyd to prevent the SNP making the predicted break-through in the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey constituency.  Donald's hustings are listed here and he can be followed on twitter @DonaldBoyd7.

John Cormack, chair of the Scottish Executive Council, is standing in the Western Isles constituency.
